Mistica LaBrasca, MPAS, PA-C

With over 13 years of experience in cosmetic and medical dermatology, Mistica LaBrasca’s expertise is in skin health and aesthetic medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to attend Chatham University to obtain her master's in physician assistant studies. Upon finishing her master's degree, Mistica began working for a busy dermatology practice where she worked for 13 years. She is a skin care expert with vast experience treating skin conditions, such as acne, rosacea, scarring, hair loss, melasma, and skin rejuvenation. In addition, she is a highly skilled injector with over a decade of experience using neuromodulators (BOTOX® and Dysport®) and dermal fillers. She has extensive knowledge and experience using lasers, chemical peels, and microneedling devices. Over the past decade, Mistica has given many lectures and presentations to her peers in the field of dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She holds the esteemed title of Diplomate Fellow for the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and first-authored a publication in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. Mistica believes skin care is the most integral aspect of everyone’s aesthetic journey, even more so than procedures. Her primary goal is to teach patients how to improve their skin health and then augment this with additional treatments to keep them looking natural and rejuvenated.

Dr. Algie LaBrasca

Dr. Algie LaBrasca is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and co-founder of SkinLaB. He specializes in breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, blepharoplasty, facelift, arm lift, and liposuction. Dr. LaBrasca earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Touro University, California. He then moved on to Memorial Hospital in York, PA, where he completed his general surgery residency, followed by a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. While in Michigan, he received additional training at the Detroit Medical Center and Botsford Hospital.

I visited the SkinLaB for my first time on Tuesday. I knew in advance that my visit would be great because I put my trust in Mistica years ago. I was blown away at the esthetics of the space. EH Office Visit

If you’re anything like me, you can find the whole skin care industry a little intimidating. I try to use all of the right serums, lotions, and oils, but nothing made me feel or look quite right. I felt like I was throwing money down the drain and looking worse for it. Nearing 40 and seeing wrinkles, I knew I was ready to start some treatments, but had no idea where to start and was so afraid I wouldn’t look like myself anymore. I made a consult with Mistica, and in 30 short minutes, she took all of my worries away. She completely redid (and simplified!) my skin care routine for less than what I was throwing away at Sephora, and gently eased me into filler and neurotoxins (completely at my request). She even told me I didn’t need things I thought I did. She was absolutely wonderful and comforting and I’m so glad that I went. The office is beautiful and the staff is friendly. Run to get an appointment, you won’t be sorry.
